Uchuu Keiji Gavan vs. Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger

Uchuu Keiji Gavan vs. Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger is a Japanese superhero crossover film between Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger and Uchuu Keiji Gavan. It serves as the first full-length entry in the Space Squad series of V-Cinema films. In the story, Gavan seeks help from the SPD to track down a criminal operating across the galaxy.

A new team of heroes begins to take shape as the Space Sheriffs and the S.P.D. join forces for a shared investigation.

Geki Jumonji, the new Space Sheriff Gavan, and his partner Shelly prepare to raid a deal involving Mad Gallant, a member of the Space Criminal Organization Genmaku.

Rather than waiting for backup, Geki decides to confront the criminals himself. The deal turns out to be a trap, however, and Mad Gallant defeats him. Shelly is apparently killed during the encounter.

When Banban Akaza of the Fire Squad arrives, he finds Geki wounded while Shelly’s body is missing. Determined to avenge her, Geki wants to continue the investigation, but Director Sophie removes him from the case, arguing that his current condition makes him a liability.

While looking at her monitor, Geki notices the name Marika “Jasmine” Hiwatari, a member of Earth’s Dekarangers who possesses psychometry. Acting on a request from the Galactic Union Police, Geki interrupts the wedding of Marika’s fellow Dekarangers, Senichi and Koume, to ask for their assistance.
