Space Sheriff Shu Karasuma and Toma Amagi, the current Jiraiya and fellow members of Space Squad, locate Space Ninja Demost of the criminal organization Genmakuu and attempt to arrest him. Demost escapes through a portal into the Kyurangers’ universe, with Shaider pursuing him.

Four years after Don Armage’s defeat, the universe is still being rebuilt under Tsurugi Ohtori’s leadership. The Kyurangers have gone their separate ways and returned to their own lives, until Shou Ronpo discovers that Hammie has stolen four newly developed Neo Kyutamas.

The incident divides the former team. Tsurugi and those supporting him want Hammie arrested, while Lucky and the others believe they should find her first and discover why she acted this way. Hammie eventually delivers the Neo Kyutamas to Demost, who uses them to revive the former Sentai villains Mele, Juzo Fuwa, Basco Ta Jolokia, and Escape.

Demost sends the revived villains and Hammie to carry out repeated attacks against the other Kyurangers, further damaging Hammie’s credibility. Shu and fellow Space Sheriff Geki Jumonji offer their assistance while the truth behind Hammie’s actions gradually emerges.

Hammie is being blackmailed by Demost, who has taken her mentor hostage after the woman had been believed dead during Jark Matter’s rule. Demost forces Hammie to obey his commands and orders her to assassinate Tsurugi.

Hammie attempts to carry out the assassination while Tsurugi publicly announces that he is stepping down because of the recent events. She hesitates before completing the attack, and Geki and Shu reveal that Demost has been forcing her to cooperate. Demost is then exposed as one of Tsurugi’s aides in disguise. Naga and Balance also arrive after rescuing Hammie’s mentor, providing further proof of her innocence.

Demost tries to kill Hammie once his scheme is exposed. Mele, who had only pretended to serve him and had become friends with the fellow chameleon-themed warrior, sacrifices herself to protect Hammie.

The Kyurangers join forces with Gavan and Shaider to defeat Demost. Once his spell is broken, Juzo, Basco, and Escape return to the afterlife.

Geki and Shu take Demost back to their own universe. They are then contacted by Jiraiya and informed of a large terrorist attack carried out by Genmakuu. In response, Geki begins considering the recruitment of additional members for Space Squad to handle future threats of this kind.
