Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters the Movie: Protect the Tokyo Enetower!

Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters the Movie: Protect the Tokyo Enetower! is the theatrical release for the 36th Super Sentai Series Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters. The film was released on August 4, 2012, as a double feature with the Kamen Rider Fourze film Kamen Rider Fourze the Movie: Space, Here We Come!. Tokyo Tower’s mascot character Noppon (ノッポン) also appears in the film.

After meeting Ryuji Iwasaki, Yoko Usami, and their Buddyloid partners, Hiromu Sakurada and Cheeda Nick join them for the maiden voyage of the FS-0O, an original Buster Machine partnered with the Buddyloid Ene-tan. When they are alerted to an Enetron disturbance in the Akeisho District, where the Enetron regulation system Tokyo Enetower (東京エネタワー, Tōkyō Enetawā) is located, Hiromu takes control of the FS-0O to investigate.

They discover a group of Buglers collecting water for the Metaloid Steamloid. The Go-Busters battle the Buglers while their Buddyloids protect civilians, but Steamloid releases steam that corrodes the Buddyloids’ bodies. While the damaged Buddyloids are being treated, the team learns that Steamloid’s ability explains why no Vaglass Megazord has yet been transported into the area.

The Go-Busters then discover that Tokyo Enetower itself is emitting transport energy. Masato Jin arrives and points out a device attached to the tower that will teleport the surrounding area into subspace for its Enetron Tanks once it becomes fully powered. Masato cannot assist directly because Beet J. Stag has also been affected by Steamloid’s corrosive steam, so Ene-tan offers to help transport the Go-Busters to Tokyo Enetower. Their objective is to defeat Steamloid before deploying the Buster Machines.

Enter tells them that resistance is useless against the large number of Buglers. Blue Buster deliberately overheats himself to eliminate the Buglers, allowing Red Buster and Yellow Buster to continue forward. Red Buster confronts Steamloid and manages to block the Metaloid’s pipes.

However, the Go-Busters’ Weak Points begin affecting them, leaving the team close to being killed. The FS-0O arrives in time to rescue them and carry them to safety. After their injuries are treated, Steamloid’s mist begins to disappear, allowing their Megazords to operate again.

The Go-Busters learn that Enter is using part of the Enetron collected inside Tokyo Enetower to summon four different Megazord archetypes along with a mysterious fifth model. With only three minutes remaining, the team quickly destroys Steamloid. They are left with forty seconds to reach their Buster Machines before the four Vaglass Megazords arrive.

With two minutes left, GT-02 Gorilla knocks down the Vaglass Megazords and begins climbing the tower, while Go-Buster Ace uses RH-03 to approach from above. Enter responds by personally piloting Megazord Type Epsilon, which sends both Go-Buster Ace and GT-02 crashing into the bay.

With assistance from SJ-05, Go-Buster Ace and GT-02 combine with FS-0O to form Go-Buster Kero-Oh. After destroying Megazord Gamma, Go-Buster Kero-Oh confronts Megazord Epsilon. The combination then separates, allowing Go-Buster Ace to destroy Megazord Epsilon while the other Busters eliminate the remaining Vaglass Megazords.

At the same time, FS-0O destroys the teleportation device before the countdown expires, preventing the surrounding area from being transported into subspace. A new problem immediately appears, however, when FS-0O damages Tokyo Enetower in the process. The other Buster Machines work together to repair the tower.

Enter eventually washes ashore and vows revenge. With the crisis resolved, the Go-Busters and their Buddyloids spend time sightseeing at Tokyo Enetower.
