Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger

Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger is an upcoming Japanese tokusatsu television drama and the 47th entry in Toei Company’s long-running Super Sentai series. It is also the fourth Super Sentai production of the Reiwa era and the first series in the franchise whose main characters all use insect motifs.

The series is scheduled to premiere on March 5, 2023, joining Kamen Rider Geats in TV Asahi’s Super Hero Time lineup after the conclusion of Avataro Sentai Donbrothers.

The story takes place on an alternate Earth divided into five kingdoms: Shugoddam, N’kosopa, Ishabana, Gokkan, and Toufu. Two thousand years after its previous attempt, the Underground Empire Bugnarak returns to invade the kingdoms, seeking to conquer the world and destroy humanity.

To oppose the new invasion, the monarchs of the five kingdoms put aside their differences and unite as the King-Ohgers. They fight using the power of the Shugods, giant mechanical deities that serve as protectors of their lands.
