Mahou Sentai Magiranger

Mahō Sentai Magiranger is Toei Company’s twenty-ninth Super Sentai production. Its action footage was used in Power Rangers Mystic Force, and scenes for both shows were filmed simultaneously in New Zealand. Courage and love of family are the series’ main themes. It was dubbed into Korean under the title Power Rangers Magic Force.

The series’ catchphrases are “Magic, it’s a sacred power! Magic, it’s an adventure into the unknown! Magic, and it’s proof of courage!” (Japanese: 魔法、それは聖なる力！ 魔法、それは未知への冒険！ 魔法、そしてそれは勇気の証！, romanized: Mahō, sore wa seinaru chikara! Mahō, sore wa michi e no bōken! Mahō, soshite sore wa yūki no akashi!) and “Divine! Adventurous! Courageous! It’s just MAGIC” (Japanese: 神秘！冒険！勇気！それは魔法, romanized: Shinpi! Bōken! Yūki! Sore wa mahō).

Unbeknownst to humans, a war had broken out between the Infershia and Magitopia. After spending fifteen years imprisoned within the Earth, the Infershia have returned to seek revenge for their imprisonment. When they attack, five siblings see their mother transform before their eyes. She gives them MagiPhones, enabling them to transform into a team of magicians. Now gifted with magical powers, the five vow to uphold their family’s legacy, though many family secrets remain for them to discover.[citation needed]
