Choushinsei Flashman

Choushinsei Flashman is the tenth series in Toei Company’s Super Sentai metaseries. It aired on TV Asahi from March 1, 1986, to February 21, 1987, for a total of 50 episodes.

It was the first Super Sentai series to introduce a second giant robot.

In 1966, five children were kidnapped by the Alien Hunters, an alien group working for the Reconstructive Experiment Empire Mess. Mess wanted samples of humans from Earth for experimentation. The children were rescued by Mess’s arch-enemy, the Flash alien race, which took each child to a different planet in the Flash solar system for training.

Trained separately in a range of superpowers to help them fight Mess, the children also adapted to the atmosphere of the Flash Solar System and gained special abilities. When they finally return to Earth in 1986 to fight Mess, which is now trying to invade the planet, they also take the opportunity to search for their birth parents.
