In 1970, Doctor Hoshikawa was researching how to transform the planet Sedon into a lush, green world. He tested his work by trying to grow flowers. On the day the first flower bloomed, the Zone Empire attacked the planet, separating him and his wife from their five children. Arthur G6 took the children back to Earth and raised them.

Twenty years later, all five are teachers at the same school. The Zone Empire is preparing to invade Earth as its thousandth target. As the attack begins, three vehicles appear and counter the offensive. Five warriors emerge from the vehicles and confront Zone.

The Hoshikawa siblings have been developing Fiveman technology and training in preparation for the possibility that Zone will invade Earth. Now, the five are ready to battle their familiar foes as Fiveman.
