About Samurai Sentai Shinkenger vs. Go-Onger: GinmakuBang!!
Samurai Sentai Shinkenger vs. Go-onger: GinmakuBang!! is a Japanese superhero film that opened in theaters on January 30, 2010. It features a crossover between the casts and characters of Samurai Sentai Shinkenger and Engine Sentai Go-onger. The heroes of Tensou Sentai Goseiger also make a cameo appearance. The film’s catchphrase is “Two Sentai! On the Road of Justice, Go Forth!!” It opened at #5 on its debut weekend and earned the equivalent of US$5 million. Footage from the film was used in the Power Rangers Samurai team-up episode “Clash of the Red Rangers – The Movie.”
A year after defeating Yogoshimacritein, the Go-ongers travel to the Wild West realm of Gunman World (ガンマンワールド, Ganman Wārudo) to face Gaiark’s Pollution President Batcheed (害統領バッチード, Gaitōryō Batchīdo) in a final battle. After they defeat EngineOh G9, Batcheed opens a dimensional rift that pulls the Go-ongers and Engines into other Braneworlds. Soon afterward, the Shinkengers encounter Ugatz and are shocked when Go-on Red appears and takes them on by himself. The Shinkengers then bring Sōsuke and Bomper to the Shiba House, but Takeru and Sōsuke struggle to work together because of their clashing personalities.
Elsewhere, Batcheed arrives at the Rokumon Junk and offers the Gedoushu a deal: hand over their waters so he can bring them to the mortal realm and power his Batchrium Plant. With the Ayakashi Homurakogi at his side, Batcheed also asks Yogostein, Kitaneidas, and Kegalesia for their support. The trio raid the Gold Zushi cart, then tell the president they want no part in his plan. They abandon Shinken Gold as they retreat into the Sanzu River, leaving him to fight the Ugatz. Go-on Red and the other Shinkengers arrive to help, but the battle ends with the vassals being pulled into a dimensional rift as they save Shinken Red and Go-on Red from Batcheed’s attack. Genta and Mako meet the Sutō Siblings in Christmas World; Kotoha and Chiaki are jailed with Renn and Gunpei by DaiGoyou in Samurai World; and Ryunosuke is left alone in Junk World until Saki and Hant find him and cheer him up.
Back in the Human World, Takeru and Sōsuke resolve their differences and learn that Hikoma Kusakabe and Bomper have been kidnapped. They are being held at Mount Aguruma, where Batcheed and an army of Nanshi and Ugatz await. When Takeru puts the safety of the world ahead of the hostages, Go-on Red is forced to fight Shinken Red. Batcheed watches as his enemies battle, but soon discovers that the fight is a diversion. The Sisi Origami help Jii and Bomper escape as the Engines arrive with the other Go-ongers and Shinkengers. The two Super Sentai teams defeat the grunts, while Shinken Red and Go-on Red take to the road to fight Homurakogi.
Akumaro tries to join the battle alongside Juzo and Dayu, but an unfamiliar force claiming to be the 34th Super Sentai, Tensou Sentai Goseiger, intervenes and easily defeats the three monsters. Go-on Red receives the Kyoryu Disk and becomes Hyper Go-on Red, while Shinken Red becomes Super Shinken Red. Joined by the others, they defeat Homurakogi. Batcheed grows larger alongside his revived aide and escapes to the Moon, where the Batchrium Plant is located. He uses Homurakogi as a shield to evade the Engine and Origami team attack as they form SamuraiHaOh and EngineOh G12. Batcheed then connects himself to the Batchrium Plant to attain his full power. The two teams are helpless until their combinations reconfigure into Samurai Formation 23 and destroy Batcheed, after which they perform a victory clap. Soon afterward, the Go-ongers set off for the other Braneworlds to search for any surviving Gaiark officers, wishing the Shinkengers luck in keeping their world safe.[3] During the ending theme, the Shinkengers’ Origami appear in “soul form,” followed by the Shinkengers’ dance number in Samurai World.
